At a press conference to introduce the program on May 12, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Province's People’s Committee Dang Huy Hau said that the program consisting of three parts aims to lure more tourists to the Northern province this year, especially this summer.

Hau added that the organizers will carry out measures against COVID-19, including measuring participants' body temperature, doing disinfection at the host place.

The program will be broadcast live on some television and radio channels.

As soon as the COVID-19 pandemic was brought under control, Quang Ninh carried out different measures to stimulate travel demand, including cutting charges for sightseeing on Ha Long Bay and at the Yen Tu historical relic and landscape complex, reducing entry fees at the Sun World Ha Long Complex, and offering free bus services from Ha Long to Van Don for those arriving at or leaving from Van Don Airport.

The province will launch numerous new tourism products, such as a Japanese-style hot spring site in Quang Hanh ward, Cam Pha city, and a public bathing beach in Hong Ha ward, Ha Long city.
