The ceremony was jointly held by the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) Organization for Vietnam, the American Center under the U.S. Embassy and Consulate in Vietnam, and the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST).

Winners of the National VEX IQ Robotics Championship 2023 awarded

The National VEX IQ Robotics Championship 2023 was a large-scale robotics tournament that helped students across the country have hands-on experience in science, technology, engineering, and math, and gain learning outcomes. It also facilitated students to develop necessary soft skills for their future, such as computational thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

This year’s event attracted the participation of 162 teams with more than 700 students from 169 primary and secondary schools in 33 provinces and cities nationwide.

Participants competed in many categories, such as Teamwork Challenge and Robot Skills Challenge.

The best 20 teams will participate in the VEX Robotics World Championship 2023 (VEX Worlds) in the U.S.

Team Mission Possible from the Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) Center and the Wellspring International Bilingual School and team Switch from the Vinschool Times City Primary School won the best prize.

In addition, the organizing panel selected 20 best teams to compete in the VEX Robotics World Championship 2023 (VEX Worlds) which will take place in May 2023 in the U.S. It is the largest robotics competition in the world, attracting more than 3,000 teams from over 60 countries.
