The delegation visited and presented gifts to Senior Colonel Huynh Hat, former Political Chief of Military Region 7 and former Deputy Commanding Officer of the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command, Major General Pham Van Kha, former Commander of Military Region 6 and former Commanding Officer of the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command, and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Duyen, a martyr’s spouse in the city.

Mr. Phuong inquired after national contributors and their relatives, and at the same time, expressed his gratitude to them for their contribution to the national construction and defense cause. Previously, Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong and his delegation visited and offered incense to commemorate heroes and martyrs at Da Lat War Cemetery.

* The same day, a delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam War Veterans' Association, led by its Chairman Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Duoc, visited and offered incense to former heroic martyrs at Vi Xuyen National War Cemetery, the  Memorial for Heroic Martyrs of Vi Xuyen in Thanh Thuy commune, Vi Xuyen district. The delegation also handed over two houses of comradeship and 20 gifts to policy beneficiaries in Ha Giang province.

* The Military Women Advisory Board in association with the Department of Political Affairs of Military Region 5 launched a gratitude activity on July 25 in Quang Nam province. The delegation presented 50 gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers, national contributors and policy families, worth VND 50 million in total. In addition, they gave 55 gifts, worth VND 40 million to wounded and sick soldiers at Quang Nam’s Convalescent Center for National Contributors.

* On July 25, the Staff of Military Region 5 handed over a house of gratitude to the family of Ta Ruong Thi Loi, a policy beneficiary in Jo Ngay, Dong Giang district, Quang Nam province.

The unit presented 31 gifts, a breeding cow, 800 sets of clothes, 870 notebooks, and more, worth VND 140 million in total, to policy families and needy households in Jo Ngay commune.

* Corporation 28 of the General Department of Logistics offered incense in tribute to heroic martyr Vo Thi Sau at her Temple in Dat Do district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. The corporation’s members presented gifts to Long Dat Convalescent Center for Wounded Soldiers and National Contributors in Long Dien district and Heroic Vietnamese Mother Le Thi Thu in Ward 10, Go Vap district, Ho Chi Minh City.

* From July 25 to 27, Dak Lak province’s border guard units visited and presented over 140 gifts, worth VND 45 million in total, to heroic Vietnamese mothers, wounded and sick soldiers in the border area.
