Vietnamese students bag five gold medals at International Olympiad of Metropolises
PANO - All eight Vietnamese students from Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted have received medals at the fifth International Olympiad of Metropolises (IOM), announced the Hanoi Municipal Department of Education and Training on December 23.
Particularly, they bagged five golds, one silver, and two bronzes. The five gold medals went to Nguyen Hoang Nam and Tran Quang Vinh in Physics, Nguyen Duy Anh and Nguyen Le Thao Anh in Chemistry, and Do Bach Khoa in Mathematics.

The silver medal went to Nguyen Duc Anh in Mathematics, while Nguyen Gia Bao and Nguyen Anh Quan snatched two bronze medals in Computer Science.
Additionally, the Vietnam team won the silver cup and ranks in Top 5 best cities in the category of blitz-contest.
