Vietnam is considered one of the countries which is thought to be heavily affected by climate change. Thus, Vietnam’s active response to the Earth Hour campaign for 11 consecutive years demonstrates the country’s determination to realize goals of environmental protection and climate change response.

The Earth Hour 2019 campaign calls upon the whole people and businesses to save energy and protect the environment, she concluded.

In Vietnam over the past month, a number of cities, businesses, and organizations held activities in response to the event. The highlight of the Earth Hour 2019 was that, together with other countries and territories worldwide, all 63 provinces and cities of Vietnam switched off unnecessary electrical devices within one hour.
