PANO – From April 10th, 100 per cent of students must wear helmets while riding electric bikes, or sitting on rear of motorbikes, said the Ministry of Education and Training.

In order to raise students and their parents’ awareness of strictly implementing this regulation, schools across the country should hold programs, such as giving them posters, leaflets and the ministry’s guide book “Measures beef up the number of primary students wearing helmets”; organizing exchanges, contests and festivals on traffic safety; and bringing traffic safety contents into class and extracurricular activities.

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Nghia urged schools to promptly warn those who have not followed the regulation yet.
