This year’s event aimed to raise public awareness of protecting the environment and promoting a sustainable lifestyle.

Exchanging garbage for gifts

During the event, various activities were held, such as exchanging garbage for gifts, which collected 446kg of old paperboards, 315 aluminum cans, 1,783 batteries and 88 recyclable electronic devices.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thi Cam Tu - a representative form Let’s Do It Hanoi, this year’s program was a community program, contributing to creating people’s habit of environmental protection, not using single-use plastic products and reducing household waste.

Meanwhile, this was also an occasion for family to get together and join hands to build a sustainable and environmentally friendly capital city of Hanoi.

Many children join the event.

Let’s Do It Hanoi also took the occasion to organize an exhibition to introduce information and images to express the message of limiting single-use plastic waste.

Let’s Do It Hanoi, established in June-2018, is a non-profit project. The organization has eight members and ten collaborators. Its major tasks are to clean up roads in Hanoi and organize refresher courses for students to raise their awareness of environmental protection towards a sustainable lifestyle.

Via the activities, “Let’s Do It Hanoi” has spread beautiful acts for the environment to millions of people.
