Party leader carries out gratitude activities in Binh Phuoc
PANO - On April 28, a working delegation led by Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information, Education, and Mass Mobilization Nguyen Trong Nghia visited Binh Phuoc province to offer incense in remembrance of fallen heroes on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day.
The delegation paid tribute at two nationally recognized historical sites, namely the Tau O – Xom Ruong blockade site, a national historical and cultural relic, and the Ta Thiet base, which served as the headquarters of the Liberation Army of South Vietnam and is a special national historical site.
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia and the delegation expressed their deep gratitude and reverence to President Ho Chi Minh, former leaders of the Command of Liberation Army of South Vietnam, and heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the nation.

He also called on Binh Phuoc province to continue restoring and promoting the value of these historical sites, contributing to educating younger generations about the country's glorious revolutionary traditions, thus encouraging them to contribute to national construction and defense cause.
On this occasion, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia presented gifts to 50 families of revolutionary contributors in Loc Ninh district, Binh Phuoc province. He encouraged these families to continue educating their descendants to uphold patriotism and preserve the hard-won revolutionary achievements for which their forefathers had sacrificed so much.
Also on the same day, Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia visited the memorial site of Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen’s journey to save his country, located at Site X16, Loc Tan commune, Loc Ninh district.
