Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai presents gifts to the needy in An Giang province.

During the event, the delegation also inquired after, handed over gifts, and sent Tet greetings to heroic Vietnamese mothers, and former leaders of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission, General Department of Political Affairs of the Vietnam People’s Army, and An Giang province.

* On the same day, the Hanoi Red Cross Society, in coordination with the Cau Giay district People’s Committee, held a Tet fair. There were 10 booths featuring Tet products, attracting the participation of 600 people to receive free products.

On the occasion, the organizing panel presented gifts, including a “Red Cross” house, livelihood support to seven people, 41 gifts and 23 scholarships to needy students, worth totally more than VND 700 million.

* The Quang Ninh provincial Military Command, in coordination with Binh Lieu district, organized a border spring program in the area. Accordingly, the organizing panel implemented the “Zero-VND booth,” offered 140 gifts (worth VND 700,000 each) to needy and policy households, and poor students with good academic outcomes. They also held an art and cultural exchange in the locality.

During the event, Binh Lieu district’s Military Command made 150 chung cakes for poor families and policy beneficiaries in the district.

* The Ninh Binh provincial Military Command, in coordination with the provincial Youth Union Organization, handed over support to Nguyen Tung Duong to help him repair his house. Duong was in hard living conditions and volunteered to join the military in 2024. After a month, the construction was completed. On the occasion, his family also received many practical gifts.

* In Regiment 726, Corps 16 worked with the local authorities to hold a Tet program and granted 68 gifts to its needy laborers and troops. Participants also joined an art and cultural exchange during the event.

* Division 7 under Army Corps 4 has just held a get-together to present gifts from the Defense Ministry, Military Region 4, and Division 7 to needy troops on the occasion of Tet 2024.

Earlier, the division also visited and offered more than 40 gifts of the army corps to Heroes of the People’s Armed Forces, troops with severe illnesses, children with disabilities, among others.
