MoU on Oxford international curriculum signed
PANO - The U.K. Academy’s international school system (UKA), a member of Nguyen Hoang Group, and Oxford University Press (OUP) of the U.K.’s Oxford University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the implementation of the Oxford international curriculum (OIC) on April 7 at Hong Bang International University.
In Vietnam, UKA is among the first school systems applying OIC. The program is researched, compiled and developed by Oxford University Press. It is now implemented in nearly 20 countries around the world. The long-term program from kindergarten to high school includes the main subjects, such as Math, English, science, physical and mental health, helping students to achieve international standard academic competence and at the same time fostering their ability to manage social emotions, thinking and lifelong learning.
The signing ceremony marked the beginning of a strategic partnership to employ the OIC at UKA’s establishments in Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Ngai, Da Nang, Ha Long (Quang Ninh), and Gia Lai from the 2022-2023 academic year.
UKA hoped that the application of OIC program will give students the opportunity to enjoy an international standard education program with certificates that provide them with an opportunity to continue their studies in other countries in the world.
