In detail, youths of the HCMC Power Corporation checked, repaired and renovated the electricity and lighting systems for free to ensure safety for more than 130 Lao students and prevent fire and explosion.

In Ward 15, Tan Binh district, HCM City, the youths tied up the network of messy telecom wires and cables, repaired the power grid system, and installed systems of solar light bulbs for free along Nguyen Phuc Chu road and canals of Tan Tru and Hy Vong.

In addition, youths of the HCM City Power Corporation presented 100 green trees and other gift packages to local people.

According to the HCM City Power Corporation, from now until the end of March 2022, the corporation’s youth union will carry out key youth projects to disseminate information on saving electricity power, contributing to building a civilized urban area.

Moreover, the corporation will collaborate with other organizations to conduct practical activities to take care of policy families, poor households, and disadvantaged children affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, present gifts to and hold cultural and sports exchanges with students from Laos and Cambodia who are living and studying in HCM City.

These activities aim to uphold youth’s enthusiasm and vanguard spirit and create an environment for young people working in the electricity industry to practice, meeting the task requirements in the new situation.
