Ethnic minority students in Ha Giang province have a new boarding house

Son Vi commune is nearly 50km far from the center of Meo Vac district with the whole population are ethnic minorities. The commune’s semi-boarding primary school accommodates 1,265 students.

Cutting the ribbon to inaugurate the new boarding house

Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan, a representative from Tam An Charity team, shared that during their recent field trip, they decided to invest in building a new boarding house to help local students have a new “second home” to continue their study.

The 252 sq.m house was built at a cost of VND 460 million contributed by Tam An Charity.

At the inauguration ceremony, Rector of the school Nguyen Hai Ha expressed his sincere thanks to Tam An Charity team, affirming that the house would improve the care and education quality for students.

Presenting gifts to the local students

On this occasion, the Ha Giang provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission and Tam An Charity team handed over many meaningful gifts, school supplies, and necessities to local students.
