Over the past time, the city’s Party Committee and government, the HCM City chapter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) and people have paid much attention to conducting meaningful and practical activities in support of officers, soldiers and local people at sea, on islands and in border areas.

Particularly, the city has coordinated with the Naval Service, the HCM City Military Command, the city’s Border Guard Command and socio-political organizations to carry out information dissemination activities on the responsibility to firmly safeguard national sovereignty among officers, soldiers, agencies and units, schools, enterprises, religious organizations, ethnic groups, and Vietnamese people at home and abroad. Also, a wide range of activities to take care of and support officers, soldiers, and residents in border areas took place.
In response to the appeal for “National sea and islands and Fatherland front-line” Fund, the staff of HCM City’s VFF chapter contributed at least one day’s salary to the city’s fund.
Meanwhile, the unit continued popularizing information and calling on agencies and units, the armed forces, and people of all classes, overseas Vietnamese to donate to the ninth art exchange program entitled “Toward the national sea, islands and borders” which will be held in August 2022.
