Deputy PM Vuong Dinh Hue visits storm victims in Ha Tinh
Deputy Prime Minister (PM) Vuong Dinh Hue and a delegation of National Assembly deputies in the Central province of Ha Tinh on September 30 visited residents in Ky Anh town, and Ky Anh and Cam Xuan districts, who have been affected by the recent storm.
Among other northern Central coastal provinces, Ha Tinh has been hardest hit by Doksuri, the 10th storm arising in the East Sea (South China Sea) and the most powerful in Vietnam in many years which left nine dead, four missing and 112 injured nationwide.
Ky Anh town, and Ky Anh and Cam Xuyen districts have suffered the greatest losses caused by the storm in Ha Tinh.

Deputy PM Hue and his encourage visited Ky Thinh 2 Elementary School in Ky Thinh district, Ky Anh town, and a kindergarten in Ky Lam commune, Ky Anh district.
They also presented gifts worth VND 1.2 billion (USD 52,800) raised by organizations, individuals and donors to 15 households in Ky Anh and Cam Xuyen districts.
The Deputy PM asked Ha Tinh to review losses, especially in disadvantaged localities in order to employ suitable measures to overcome storm consequences.
The same day, he granted gifts to children, the disabled and homeless people in the provincial orphanage, where the official stressed that the Party and the Government always pay attention to people living in difficult circumstances and disadvantaged groups.
The trip took place during their tour to meet voters in the run-up to the fourth session of the 14th National Assembly.
