The detachment has coordinated closely with the border guard, coast guard, and naval forces and coastal local authorities in Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong provinces to disseminate information related to the Law of the Sea of Vietnam, the Fisheries Law, and regulations against illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing. These communications campaigns aim to enhance fishermen’s legal understanding and responsibility in complying with national and international regulations on fisheries exploitation.

Beyond legal education, the unit has consistently offered timely support to fishermen at sea, helping to strengthen their confidence in continuing offshore fishing operations while contributing to the protection of national maritime sovereignty.
