Charity walk to be held in support of AO/dioxin victims and needy people with disabilities
PANO – A charity walk for Agent Orange/dioxin (AO) victims and people with disabilities in 2017 under the theme “The Red Cross Society - for everyone, in everywhere” will take place on August 5 at Dam Sen Culture Park in Ho Chi Minh City, announced the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society on July 31.

The program, including major events such as fund-raising for AO/dioxin victims and presenting gifts to disadvantaged AO/dioxin victims and people with disabilities, is expected to attract the participation of more than 5,000 people.
According to the organizing panel, last year, they carried out numerous activities such as presenting gifts, breeding cattle, and wheelchairs to AOdioxin victims, providing financial assistance for house repairs with a total cost of more than VND 2 billion.
