1,000 people to celebrate fourth International Yoga Day in Hanoi
PANO - The Indian Embassy in Vietnam on June 11 held a press conference to introduce the International Yoga Day, honoring its benefits to human health.
At the press conference, Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Parvathaneni Harish said that the embassy will coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Hanoi People's Committee to organize the fourth International Yoga Day at the Hanoi Indoors Gymnasium in Hanoi on June 16.

The Yoga Day will start off with a two-hour mass performance of Yoga movements performed by more than 1,000 Vietnamese Yoga devotees followed by a musical performance by an Indian musical group.

The Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City will also celebrate the International Yoga Day on June 23.
On December 11, 2014, the United Nations General Assembly declared June 21 as the International Yoga Day and in 2015, the first International Yoga Day was held in Vietnam.
