The Vietnamese Embassy in Moscow held an informal meeting on January 26 for representatives of mass media agencies in Russia.

Present at the meeting were Mikhail Vladimirovich, First Deputy Director General of ITAR-TASS Russian News, representatives of Russian Television and Russian Radio, as well as reporters and editors from many other media agencies.

Addressing the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Bui Dinh Dinh highlighted the two countries’ strategic cooperation, as well as significant achievements since the establishment of Vietnam-Russia diplomatic ties 60 years ago.

He emphasised the role and assistance of Russia’s mass media agencies in spotlighting major news in Vietnam, thus helping to strengthen friendship and promote mutual understanding between the Vietnamese and Russian people.

The Vietnamese diplomat hoped that the Russian media would continue to cover significant events in Vietnam, particularly issues relating to bilateral relations. He pledged to create optimal conditions for Russian journalists to perform their duties in Vietnam.

Representatives of the Russian media expressed their love for Vietnam and its people and spoke highly of Vietnam’s achievements in the renovation process under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
