Boosting economic and trade relations between Viet Nam and Tunisia was the focal point of a business forum that was held in Ha Noi, on June 27.

Speaking at the forum, organised by the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), both Tunisian Foreign Minister Abdelwahed Abdallah and VCCI Vice President Doan Duy Khuong said that two-way trade between the two countries has yet to come close to their shared potential.

The Tunisian foreign minister said that his country was in awe of the rapid pace of Viet Nam's economic development over the course of the country's 20-year renewal process.

During the forum, Vietnamese and Tunisian enterprises exchanged information on their respective investment environment and business opportunities.
