NA works to deal with voters’ concerns promptly: Chairwoman
The National Assembly will intensify its supervision role to ensure voters’ concerns will be dealt with promptly, Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said.
She had a meeting with voters in Tan Thoi commune, Phong Dien district, in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on June 18.
She said the organization of meetings with voters and collection of voters’ opinions prior and after NA sessions have enabled central agencies, localities and sectors to deal with more arising issues.

She noted that the application of technologies in NA sessions aims to better serve people and voters.
Discussing asset recovery in corruption cases, the leader reasserted the determination of the Party and State in the combat against corruption, reiterating that there is no banned zone in the field.
At the meeting, Ngan noted down voters’ opinions relating to punishments to those who produce fake and sub-standard goods, hospital fee submission, support policies for social policy beneficiaries, and others.
Earlier, the NA Chairwoman attended a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of temples dedicated to Hung Kings in Can Tho.
The work costs 129 billion VND invested by Van Phu Invest company.
It serves the practice of worshipping Hung Kings and also works as a tourist destination in the locality.
