The annual event, held by the Vietnamese Embassy in New Zealand and Vietnamese Students’ Association in Wellington (VSAW), allows the Vietnamese community in Wellington to reunite and introduce Vietnamese traditions to New Zealanders.
Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to New Zealand Nguyen Viet Dung said the event strengthens mutual understanding and creates cooperation opportunities for both countries.
He lauded the efforts of VSAW in organizing the event and hoped it would contribute to boosting people-to-people exchange between the two nations’ relationship.
