Nghe An province searches and collects 87 sets of martyrs’ remains

During the 2023-2024 dry season, the search and collection work in Laos and Nghe An province faced many difficulties. Therefore, the provincial Steering Committee 515 boosted leadership and took measures, while encouraging the Search and Collection team to promote their responsibility, make efforts to overcome difficulties as well as hardships, effectively conduct mass mobilization work, so as to fulfill assigned tasks, contributing to tightening the solidarity relationship between the two parties, two peoples in general, and between Nghe An and the three provinces of Xiangkhouang, Vientiane and Xaisomboun in particular.

An overview of the conference

In the 2023-2024 dry season, the Search and Collection team conducted surveys, searched and collected 87 sets of martyrs’ remains, exceeding their set plan. During task implementation, the unit always strictly observes military discipline and ensures absolute safety.

In his speech at the conference, Senior Colonel Pham Van Dong acknowledged and praised the results and achievements of Steering committee 515 during the 2023-2024 dry season. In the coming time, the work is expected to be much harder. To successfully implement assigned missions, he urged the provincial Steering Committee 515 to continue to thoroughly grasp the guidelines and policies of the Party and the State regarding the search and collection of martyrs’ remains. Simultaneously, he emphasized the importance of timely care and policies for the forces carrying out the duties, among others.

On the behalf of the Minister of National Defense, Senior Colonel Pham Van Dong presents certificates of merit to outstanding collectives and individuals.

At the conference, on behalf of the Minister of National Defense, the Steering committee 515 of Military Region 4 presented certificates of merit to the Search and Collection team and its head Lieutenant Colonel Che Ngoc Ha for their great achievements during task implementation. The People’s Committee and the Nghe An provincial Military Command also honored 12 collectives and 23 individuals for their good performance in this field.
