Naval Region 4 takes sick fisherman to mainland for treatment
PANO - The Naval Region 4 Command handed over sick fisherman Le Van Muoi, a crew-member of the fishing trawler numbered QNg 95579 TS, to his family and the local authority for further treatment on October 7 in Cam Ranh Military Port, Cam Ranh city, Khanh Hoa province.
Le Van Muoi comes from Binh Tri commune, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province. Earlier, while conducting fishing activities in Sin Cowe Island, Truong Sa island district, Khanh Hoa province, he had a headache and vertigo. Promptly, he was brought to Sin Cowe Island for emergency aid on October 2.

After giving medical examinations, doctors of Sin Cowe island diagnosed that the patient had high blood pressure and diabetes.
Right after receiving the information, a leader of the Naval Region 4 Command required Ship 522 of Brigade 955 of Naval Region 4 on duty nearby to take the patient to the mainland for further treatment.
He was brought to the mainland in a stable health condition.
