More medical supplies for anti-pandemic force of Da Nang
PANO - The Transport Department of the General Department of Logistics on August 12 handed over 80 tons of supplies to Da Nang Department of Health's Depot to help them in COVID-19 prevention and control.
According to Senior Colonel Pham Van Dung, Commander of Brigade 683, the unit received four wagons at Quang Ngai Railway Station, transferred to Kim Lien Station in Lien Chieu district, Da Nang city, and then unloaded and presented 80 tons of medical supplies to Da Nang Department of Health's Depot. In order to fulfill the assigned tasks, the unit's leaders have built detailed plans and assigned tasks to each department.

Brigade 683 mobilized nearly 40 troops and six vehicles, in association with the youth volunteer force of Da Nang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy and militiamen from Hoa Hiep Nam ward, Lien Chieu district, to unload medical supplies.
During the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the units under the Transport Department successfully transferred 130 tons of goods and medical equipment from depots in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to the depots of Da Nang Department of Health.
