“Military youths and traffic culture” festive day held in Ninh Thuan

Over the past years, agencies and units in the whole military have creatively and effectively carried out models and programs in response to the “Military youths and traffic culture” campaign, thus to make positive changes among Youth Union members and people’s awareness and actions regarding traffic safety and traffic culture, reduce traffic accidents in the whole country in general and in the military in particular.

Addressing the event, Senior Colonel Tran Viet Nang, head of the Military Youth Advisory Board suggested agencies and units direct their Youth Union organizations to embrace higher level’s directives, plans, and instructions on ensuring traffic safety and order in the new situation, disseminating information about cultural lifestyle, and friendly, civilized, and orderly traffic environment. Together with providing youths with key contents of the Traffic Safety Year 2024, Youth Union members should commit themselves to abiding by the Traffic Law and strictly observing regulations on not driving when having drunk alcohol.

At the event, nearly 1,000 Youth Union members paraded to disseminate information about traffic culture across key streets in Phan Rang - Thap Cham city. Meanwhile, other participating units gave instructions on safe driving for Youth Union members and youths.
