The delegation also visited the Dien Bien Phu Historic Victory Museum, the Command Bunker of De Castries, the Hill A1 Relic Site, and the Command Post of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign in Muong Phang.

While visiting the Dien Bien provincial Military Command, Lt. Gen. Nguyen Manh Hung briefed the guests on the general department’s notable achievements over the past time. According to him, since the beginning of March, units within the general department have organized emulation movements to obtain achievements to mark the Dien Bien Phu Victory. On the occasion, Gen. Hung handed over a fund of VND 310 million to the provincial military command to build houses for policy beneficiaries and a great unity house; 20 gifts, worth VND 1 million each, to local policy beneficiaries.
