Division 968 evacuates local people’s property to safe places
PANO – Due to long torrential rain, many areas in Cam Hieu commune, Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province were likely to be deeply submerged in water, threatening people's lives and properties.
At the request of the Party Committee, government, and people of Cam Hieu commune, on October 15, Division 968 under Military Region 4 promptly mobilized troops to help local people evacuate their assets to safer places.
As reported, to effectively carry out the mission, Division 968 made thorough preparations of people, vehicles, and materials to help people respond to circumstances, conduct rescue, and overcome consequences.
