Reports delivered at the meeting revealed that together with dealing with violation cases, in 2021 the coast guard force actively carried out search and rescue missions and natural disaster response. In particular, the force mobilized 21 ships and 350 troops to rescue three vehicles and 67 people and helped local people respond to natural disasters and overcome their consequences.
The mass mobilization activities were carried out in line with the COVID-19 pandemic situation. In the year, coast guard units focused on realizing two programs, themed “Coast guard troops stand by fishermen” and “Coast guard troops stand by ethnic minority and religious people,” and supporting pandemic-affected locals.
