50 tons of anti-COVID-19 supplies handed over to Da Nang
PANO – The Department of Transportation under the General Department of Logistics on August 6 handed over 50 tons of medical supplies to the Da Nang municipal Ministry of Health to help the locality fight COVID-19 pandemic.
Deputy Health Minister Nguyen Truong Son attended the event.

Implementing Official Document No.4136/BYT-KHTC issued on August 3 by the Ministry of Health on supporting means of transport for COVID-19 prevention and control, the Department of Transportation has mobilized its affiliated units including Brigades 683, 971 and 972 to transport 50 tons of medical supplies from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang city.
The supplies include 50,000 N95 face masks; 1,500,000 medical masks; 53,650 sets of protective clothing.
40 troops with 10 vehicles were mobilized to safely transport and hand over all of the supplies to Da Nang City.
