VPA parade delegation participates in first grand rehearsal at Alabino

The distance between the accommodation and Alabino training ground was over 100km. To ensure timely departure, the entire delegation had breakfast at 4:30 a.m. At exactly 5:30 a.m., the convoy headed towards Alabino.

Alabino training ground is part of the Patriot Military Park, which also hosts the Tank Biathlon competition - one of the exciting events at the International Army Games.

After nearly two hours of travel, the Vietnamese delegation arrived at the Alabino training ground to prepare. By 9:00 a.m., military delegations from various countries had gathered. Just before the groups assembled, the organizing panel arranged for several water tankers to spray the ground to reduce dust. The morning temperature at Alabino was around 2°C. Although it was sunny, the wind made the cold more biting.

After two days of getting accustomed to the new environment and weather conditions, this was the first grand rehearsal with other delegations participating in the Red Square Parade. During the event, the delegations familiarized themselves with their positions, the parade order, and the event regulations.
