Vietnam Coast Guard meets with press agencies in 2025
PANO - On January 21 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Coast Guard held a meeting with press agencies. The event was chaired by its Political Commissar Lieutenant General Bui Quoc Oai.
In 2024, agencies and units across the Vietnam Coast Guard coordinated with 108 central and local press agencies to carry out dissemination efforts. They directly worked with 540 reporters and editors to produce nearly 2,400 articles, features, reports, special editions, and programs highlighting the activities of the force in social media.

Recognizing the efforts and contribution of press agencies over the past year, the Vietnam Coast Guard awarded certificates of merit to 30 collectives and 72 individuals for their outstanding achievements in cooperation in disseminating information about national sovereignty over sea and islands and the Vietnam Coast Guard.
Speaking at the meeting, Lieutenant General Bui Quoc Oai expressed his delight at the support and special care from the press agencies for the Vietnam Coast Guard over the past year.

He hoped that the press agencies would continue to boost dissemination with diverse and in-depth contents, reflecting the task performance and achievements of the coast guard force.
On the occasion, the Vietnam Coast Guard presented certificates of merit to 34 collectives and 47 individuals from the press agencies for their outstanding achievements in dissemination work related to national sovereignty over sea and islands and the force.
