PANO – The Border Post of the Le Thanh gate, under the Gia Lai provincial Border Guard Command, on April 5th reviewed joint activities last year between Vietnamese and Cambodian twinned border villages.
They are Mook Den 1 village (Ia Dom commune, Duc Co district, Gia Lai province) and Pak Thum village (Pak Nhai commune, Ou Ya Dav district, Ratanakiri province, Cambodia).
Over the past year, the two villages worked together to protect the shared borderline and border markers, fight human trafficking, and help each other develop the culture and socio-economy.
The twinning relationship has contributed to building the border of peace and friendship, and tightening traditional ties between the two provinces in particular, and the two countries in general.
