Tet greetings delivered to troops in border areas and on islands
PANO – Political Commissar of the Vietnam Coast Guard Command Major General Bui Quoc Oai, on February 1, visited and extended Tet (lunar New Year) greetings to Coast Guard Region 4 troops on duty on Phu Quoc Island in Kien Giang province.
On behalf of the Vietnam Coast Guard Party Committee and Command, Major General Bui Quoc Oai acknowledged and hailed the Coast Guard Region 4 Command’s achievements in overcoming difficulties in order to perform combat readiness and ensure happy Tet for troops.

On this occasion, General Oai also sent Tet greetings to troops working at sea, wishing them all good health while maintaining combat readiness and ensuring a happy and cozy holiday for the locals.
The political commissar also shared difficulties with the troops in 2021, hoping that they would further promote determination to firmly protect national sovereignty over sea and islands.
In the border areas of Ha Tien city and Giang Thanh district, a delegation of the Kien Giang provincial Border Guard Command visited units on duty at COVID-19 checkpoints in the areas. At the visits, they extended Tet greetings to them on the occasion of the lunar New Year 2022.
