According to a report delivered at the meeting, in the first half of this year, the Party committee and Chain-of-command of the brigade have strictly embraced and implemented higher levels’ resolutions, directives, and orders; comprehensively carried out solutions; and fulfilled all assigned missions. Attentively, the unit’s troops have maintained firm political stance and stayed ready to take on any tasks on request.

In this reviewed time, the brigade has continued its training session under the motto “Basic, practical, firm;” well mastered and exploited assigned weapons and technical equipment; and improved the quality of handling situations while observing safety regulation.

Addressing the conference, Rear Admiral Phan Tuan Hung applauded Submarine Brigade 189 for its accomplishments and asked the unit’s Party committee and Chain-of-command to excellently complete missions for the remaining time of the year.

The Naval Service leader requested the unit to focus on maintaining and improving combat readiness quality according to operation plans, taking part in exercises, raising training quality, making positive changes in regularity building, management of troops, observance of discipline and law, and assurance of safety and logistics supplies and technical services for task performance.

The unit was also urged to host and join competitions and get high results; build a comprehensively-strong, exemplary, typical brigade, a politically-, ideologically-, morally-, and organizationally-strong Party organization.

At the event, Rear Admiral Phan Tuan Hung handed over the Prime Minister’s emulation flag to Submarine Brigade 189 in recognition of its excellent duty fulfillment, its leading position in the whole military “Determined-to-win” emulation movement in 2022, making contribution to the military building, defense consolidation, and Fatherland defense cause.
