Submarine Brigade 189 launches sports festival in 2022
PANO - On November 5, Submarine Brigade 189 of the Naval Service launched a sports festival in 2022 in Cam Ranh city (Khanh Hoa province).
The event attracts the participation of more than 500 athletes from the brigade’s affiliated units and ships of Naval Regions 2 and 3. During the festival, the participants will compete in many categories, including football, men’s volleyball, women’s volleyball, 1,000-meter breaststroke relay, strong soldiers, male tug-of-war, and female tug-of-war, among others.

The festival will last until December 22. This is a practical activity of the brigade in celebration of the 50 years of “Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu in the Air” victory, the 78th anniversary of the foundation day of the Vietnam People’s Army, and the 33rd whole people’s festive day.
At the same time, the program aims to raise quality of physical training and promote sports movements in the whole unit.
