During the U.S. destructive war against North Vietnam, Regiment 230 engaged in 1,930 battles, shooting down 152 aircraft of various types and capturing 30 pilots.

Over the past years, generations of officers and soldiers in Regiment 230 have continuously upheld the legacy of their predecessors, overcoming numerous challenges and actively conducting combat readiness training to protect Ho Chi Minh City’s sky.
