Progress of Vietnam Museum of Military History project inspected
PANO - Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) General Luong Cuong checked the first phase of the construction project of the Vietnam Museum of Military History on May 9 in Hanoi.
The Vietnam Museum of Military History is an important project of the Ministry of National Defense. It is expected to be a destination for people to learn about the military history of Vietnam and an architecture highlight in the capital city of Hanoi.

Having inspected the project and heard reports, the GDP’s Chief acknowledged and highly appreciated efforts, spirit, responsibility, and pro-activeness of the management board of the project, relevant agencies of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, contractors, design advisors, engineers, and workers directly participating in the project.

To ensure the quality and progress of the project, Gen. Cuong asked the GDP’s leaders, the project’s management board, and consulting unit to apply measures to ensure the progress and quality of the project, while ensuring absolute safety of personnel, vehicles, and equipment.

The GDP’s Chief emphasized the need to foster coordination among participating units and enhance inspection to detect and address difficulties in a timely manner to ensure that the first phase of the project will be completed on the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22, 1944 – 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the whole people’s defense festive day (December 22, 1989 - 2024).
