New training season launched on islands of Truong Sa archipelago

This year, units stationed on the islands of the Truong Sa archipelago will continue to thoroughly implement higher-level resolutions and directives on training advisory work; promote the “Good Training” emulation movement; and focus on breakthroughs in “Basic training, mastery, specialization in exploitation, use of technical equipment and implementation of safe rules.”

Units will adhere to the motto “Basic, practical, firm,” emphasizing synchronized and in-depth training; training closely aligned with plans and situations, practice-centered; strengthening physical training and endurance for troops; pro-actively preparing logistical support and training models and teaching aids; and promoting initiatives and improvements of technical equipment to serve training and combat readiness.

Units strive to complete all training programs, contents, and schedules; ensure 100 percent of troop participation; achieve flying results in inspections while ensuring absolute safety.

The training emulation movement, themed “Good training, safety, mastery, regularity, modernity,” runs from February 20 to December 25, 2026.

The launch ceremony concluded with martial arts demonstrations and mass physical exercise performances by officers and soldiers from the islands, along with a competition of training models and teaching aids, creating a vibrant atmosphere and strong determination to successfully accomplish the training mission for 2026.
