Naval Region 3 inspects ships and evaluates naval commanding officers' training results
PANO - On July 17 and 18, in Da Nang City, the Naval Region 3 Command conducted inspections of vessels and evaluated ship commanding officers’ training results based on the established criteria for building “disciplined and exemplary ships,” tailored to each ship type operated by Brigade 161 and Brigade 172 in the first half of 2025.
The inspection also focused on the outcomes of Phase 1 of the training program 2025 for ship commanding officers.
The results showed that units had thoroughly grasped and effectively implemented regulations, achieving steady progress in building “disciplined and exemplary ships.” Maintenance, repairs, and technical routines were also conducted methodically. The ships have been kept in good technical conditions, meeting the requirements for training, combat readiness, and other assigned tasks.
Ship commanding staff demonstrated a strong grasp of their duties, proficiency in navigation, and capabilities in command, operations, and decision-making. They managed, operated, and maintained onboard weapons and equipment effectively, maneuvered their ships competently, and handled various scenarios as required, all while ensuring absolute safety.
Political and Party work aboard ships were also maintained regularly and effectively.
Alongside these achievements, the inspection teams also pointed out existing limitations and requested unit commanders to take seriously measures for fixing. These efforts aim to further enhance the quality of ship management and commanding staff’s training in the time ahead.
