PANO – The Military University of Culture and Arts started the 2016-2017 school year on September 23, in presence of Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics Major General Le Hien Van, and representatives from relevant  agencies of the Ministry of Defence, the General Staff and the General Department of Politics.

In his speech, Major General Nguyen Duc Trinh, the university’s rector briefed the school’s achievements over the past year. As a result, 100 percent of its students graduated, including 96.25 percent reaching the good and excellent grades.

The university organized more than 100 art programs on the occasion of the great political events of the country, the army and cities and provinces and the outstanding performance was in celebration of the 12th National Party Congress early this year.

Addressing the event, General Van highly applauded the school's achievements in the 2015-2016 academic year and urged its leaders, staff and students to continue to build a comprehensively strong school, contributing to training competent artists with firm political stance to contribute to improving political and spiritual lives of troops and people nationwide.

On this occasion, Senior Colonel Phung Kim Lan, People’s Army Newspaper’s Deputy Editor-in-Chief, presented 5 scholarships worth VND 15 million to students with excellent academic records.
