At the meeting of Military Region 2

During the virtual meeting hosted by the Party Committee of Military Region 2, Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of Military Region 2 emphasized the thorough preparations and scientific organization of the 11th Military Party Congress.

According to General Quyet, at the 11th Military Party Congress, delegates heightened their political responsibility, contributed constructive opinions to the draft documents of the congress, and elected 43 delegates along with 18 ex officio delegates representing the Military Party Organization to attend the upcoming 13th National Party Congress.

The same day, Major General Nguyen Van Hung, Secretary of the Party Committee and Political Commissar of the Military Logistics Academy chaired a similar meeting to brief the participants on the 11th Military Party Congress’ important contents and results.

According to General Hung, the congress, lasting from September 27 to 30 followed the spirit of “Unity - Understanding - Bravery - Democracy - Discipline”. It has opened a new development period of the military and contributes positively to the upcoming 13th National Party Congress.

At the meeting, the delegates also heard the full statement of Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong delivered at the 11th Military Party Congress and the letter of the 11th Military Party Congress sent to all officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, military workers, defense employees, militia and self-defense forces nationwide.

General Hung asked Party committees and commanders of the academy’s affiliated agencies to embrace the Resolution of the 11th Military Party Congress and the Resolution of the 22nd congress of the Party Organization of the academy and put forward action programs to realize the resolution soon.
