Military Region 9 seriously carries out Law on Officers of Vietnam People's Army

Over the past time, under the leadership and direction of the party committees and chains-of-command of Military Region 9 and its affiliated agencies and units, troops in the whole military region have seriously implemented the Law of Officers. 

Apart from contributing opinions to draft circulars and regulations of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to complete guidelines on implementing the law, the military region has selected right officers to train and undertake positions and effectively carried out policies for officers and their families. So far, Military Region 9 has built 1,091 public housing buildings and mobilized resources to construct 4,800 houses for officers.

Speaking at the event, General Thang praised Military Region 9 for its obtained achievements in carrying out the Law on Officers and asked the party committees and chains-of-command of Military Region 9 and its affiliated agencies and units to thoroughly embrace viewpoints of the Party, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on military personnel building, study and strictly carry out the Law on Officers, and focus on developing competent officials to meet higher requirements in the new period.
