Military Institute of Traditional Medicine asked to promote modernization
PANO – Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San led a delegation to visit the Military Institute of Traditional Medicine on April 12.
On touring the institute, inspecting on-going projects in the unit and hearing the report from the unit’s leaders, General San valued its efforts in both overcoming difficulties and implementing construction projects in the institute while receiving and taking care of patients. In particular, they have also performed well COVID-19 prevention and control tasks.

Being aware of the fact that traditional medicine plays an important role in the examination, treatment and healthcare for soldiers and people, the deputy defense minister requested the Military Institute of Traditional Medicine’s Party Committee and Chain-of-Command to take comprehensive measures to improve its personnel’s quality and invest in modern equipment to meet all task requirements.
In addition, they should also promote modernization of traditional medicine and pharmacy in combination with research and invention of oriental medicine remedies while effectively carrying out physical therapy methods, among others.
