Reports delivered at the event affirmed that over the past years, the hospital has obtained significant achievements in patient treatment, international cooperation, and UN peacekeeping operations. To meet the demand of troops and people for healthcare in the current context, the hospital has paid attention to building several high-quality examination and treatment facilities, updating modern medical equipment, and training a contingent of competent medical workers. The unit has also targeted to build a smart and high-tech military hospital in the South.

With its obtained results and contributions over the past four decades, the hospital was honored with the title of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces for the second time. The hospital’s Director Major General Nguyen Hong Son was presented with the first-class Labor Order.

Speaking at the event, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan extended best wishes to past and present families of fallen soldiers, national contributors, wounded and sick soldiers, scientists, doctors, troops, and medical workers of Military Hospital 175. She also congratulated the hospital on its significant achievements over the past 45 years.

Ngan asked Military Hospital 175 to embrace and effectively carry out resolutions and directives on healthcare. She urged the unit to continue improving the quality of its examination and treatment services for patients, promote the application of technology to its examination and treatment, step up international integration, and build a comprehensive and strong unit to become a modern and comprehensive health center that meets regional standards.

The NA Chairwoman also emphasized the importance of training qualified and professional staff, using advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques, increasing the quality of hospital management, and staying ready to respond to emergency situations, including the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, she stressed.

Ngan expressed her belief that the hospital will continue promoting its traditions and doing its utmost to fulfil all assigned tasks, thus contributing to developing the health sector and strengthening national security in the new context.

On the occasion, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan planted a tree in the compound of Military Hospital 175 and inquired after those under treatment at the hospital.
