The GDP deputy chief requested agencies and units to strictly observe duty regulations, well carry out fire prevention and control, and ensure traffic safety during the lunar New Year holidays. During the holidays, agencies and units should well perform key tasks and strengthen solidarity, unity, and determination to well complete all assigned tasks.

On behalf of the GDP’s leadership Senior Lieutenant General Do Can presented gifts to agencies and units and sent New Year greetings to all personnel and their families.

The same day, Deputy Chief of the General Staff Major General Pham Truong Son inspected the combat readiness observance of and sent New Year wishes to the Quang Binh provincial Military and Border Guard Commands and the Military Command of Quang Ninh district under the Quang Binh provincial Military Command.

The visiting delegation was received by member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Quang Binh provincial Party Committee Vu Dai Thang.

At the meeting, Major General Pham Truong Son acknowledged and praised units for their obtained achievements in enlistment, training, combat readiness, exercises, natural disaster prevention, search and rescue, gratitude, policy work, fight against crime, and border external relations.

Regarding key missions in the coming time, Major General Pham Truong Son asked the provincial Military and Border Guard Commands to direct their affiliated agencies and units to continue maintaining combat readiness and cooperating to closely follow situational developments and ensure political security and social order.

He urged the units to continue seriously and thoroughly embracing the work of organizing lunar New Year activities; pay attention to inquiring after and encouraging policy families, national contributors, needy households, those in remote and mountainous areas, and needy troops working in border areas, at sea, and on islands.
