L2FH Rotation 2’s personnel pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh
PANO – Personnel of the Level-two Field Hospital (L2FH) Rotation 2 of Vietnam and representatives of the defense ministries’ relevant bodies paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum and laid wreaths at the Heroic Martyrs’ Monument in Hanoi on November 7.
The event witnessed the presence of Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army.
At the event, Major General Hoang Kim Phung, Head of the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations (VNDPKO), reported the unit’s five-year achievements in joining the UN peacekeeping operations, stressing that these results have contributed to displaying Vietnam’s responsibility for the UN’s joint missions, and promoting the country’s role and prestige in the world.
He held that the L2FH Rotation 2 has fulfilled its final preparations for the deployment to the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) on November 19. On behalf of the VNDPKO’s personnel and employees, he vowed to be loyal to the Party, the Fatherland and the country, and to strive to become Vietnamese emissaries of peace and to fulfill their assigned tasks.
