Hanoi Capital Command’s former senior officers reaffirm their trust in the leadership of the Party and State

At the meeting, the participants were briefed on the economic, cultural and social development of Hanoi and the results of the capital’s armed forces' performance of military and defense missions in 2017. Accordingly, last year the command instructed its units to carry out comprehensively assigned missions, provided constructive advice for the municipal Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee to raise the quality of the implementation of military and defense missions. The command’s units ensured absolute safety of important political events of the Party and State and political security and order in the capital’s localities. In 2017, the Hanoi Capital Command mobilized around 3,100 troops and more than 107,900 militiamen to join disaster mitigation, search, rescue and firefighting missions.

Expressing their delight at the strong development of the capital’s armed forces as well as their absolute trust in the Party’s leadership and the State’s management, the former officers promised to further uphold the glorious tradition of Hanoi troops and people, and hoped that their succeeding generations of the capital’s troops will fulfill successfully their assigned missions to contribute to developing Hanoi into a developed and civilized city and building strong armed forces with high combat strength.
