General Staff delegation checks Hung Yen’s preparation for new training season
PANO – A delegation of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, led by Deputy Director of the Department of Military Training and School Management Major General Vu Viet Hung, checked the Hung Yen provincial Military Command’s preparation for the new training season on February 12.
Having checked the Military Command of Hung Yen province and its units, the delegation evaluated that the province’s armed forces have thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented directives, resolutions, and orders from higher levels. Agencies and units have well developed training plans and materials; prepared training ground and facilities; equipped officers in charge of training troops with essential knowledge and skills.

The military command has invested in building a training ground, command post, and training facilities with a total investment of over VND 10 billion; repairing and rebuilding more than 3,200 models and training facilities. Together with developing nearly 3,600 lesson plans, it has mobilized over 1,000 workdays to consolidate the training grounds and specialized fields.
The entire province has 64 initiatives to improve the quality of training and pro-actively ensured the logistics and technical support for the training mission.
Concluding the inspection, General Hung acknowledged and highly appreciated the Hung Yen provincial Military Command’s leadership and direction as well as the agencies and units’ enthusiasm and activeness in preparing for the upcoming training program.
The inspection delegation evaluated that agencies and units have exerted effort and allocated financial resources to repair and renew training models. The training plans and programs have been carried out fully and in accordance with regulations. The provincial armed forces have introduced many initiatives and technical improvements to support the training work.
The Deputy Director of the Department of Military Training and School Management also suggested that, in the coming time, the Hung Yen provincial Military Command and its agencies and units should manage well, focus on regularity building, discipline observance, safety maintenance; preparation for the upcoming training season. Officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces should overcome all difficulties to complete the training tasks for 2025 successfully.
