Reports delivered at the event revealed that the Party and political work was comprehensively carried out in the second month of 2022, fulfilling all set targets. In particular, agencies and units well organized information dissemination and education activities, studied and carried out higher levels’ conclusions and regulations on Party building and rectification, ensured security and safety at activities, and effectively conducted mass mobilization work.
Troops in the whole military showed their firm stance, determination, and readiness to undertake and fulfil all assigned missions.
Speaking at the event, General Luong Cuong praised GDP’s agencies and units for their efforts in completing regular and unexpected missions last month.
Regarding missions in March, GDP’s Chief asked political agencies and units to strictly embrace and carry out missions as planned with a focus on political education, combat readiness mission, and education of new recruits about traditions of their units. He also requested the general department to build a plan to mark important events, including the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army, the 35th anniversary of the whole’s people defense festive day, the 50th anniversary of the “Dien Bien Phu in the Air” victory, the 50th anniversary of Southern liberation and national reunification, and the 80th National Day.
He urged GDP to direct press agencies to promote dissemination of the outcomes of military, defense, and defense external relations missions and actively combat wrongful viewpoints of hostile forces to protect the ideological basis of the Party.
Together with directing agencies and units to hold youth union’s congresses at all levels as regulated, the general department should make thorough preparation for the organization of ceremonies to honor outstanding and promising young people and women in the military, General Cuong added.
GDP’s Chief also asked agencies and units to build pandemic prevention and control plans and well fulfill the political mission of taking care of and protecting troops’ health.
