In the month, a television film named “War without borders” started to be screened, helping spread the good image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers in the new period. Military press agencies covered political and foreign relations events, military, defense, Party building activities.

Attentively, a draft proposal and resolution of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on the highest military rank for heads of newly-established units or reorganized units were completed.
Also in the reviewed time, policies for troops and people were implemented effectively and in a timely manner. Troops pro-actively prevented and controlled natural disasters and overcame their consequences. They showed absolute trust in the leadership of the Party, State, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defense and stayed ready to undertake and fulfill all assignments.
Addressing the event, General Luong Cuong highly praised agencies and units for surmounting difficulties, and completing assigned tasks.
Regarding October duties, the GDP director asked agencies and units to grasp situations, carry out set programs with a focus on promoting education to raise troops’ awareness of their duties; carrying out projects on celebrations of the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army, 35 years of the All People’s Defense Festive Day, and the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory; boosting information dissemination and orientation of opinions, especially during the eighth session of the 13th Party Central Committee, the sixth meeting of the 15th National Assembly.
Other key tasks included the good organization of the professional art festival on all people’s defense topic; preparations for the draft leadership resolution on military, defense tasks and Military Organization building in 2024; assessment and classification of Party committees and Party members.
General Luong Cuong also asked for the review of the implementation of the Law on Vietnam People’s Army’s Officers, and the successful organization of the tenth Military Trade Union Congress and the military-level contest for Women’s Union cadres, among others.
